We all know how Minecraft servers start:
- Potential administrator joins a Minecraft server
- Becomes interested in making own server
- Makes a server and hosts somewhere
Static Craft was founded in January 2015 by a player (and current head CEO) named DownThePark – me. I started this server in hopes of bringing people together in a positive fashion (namely, making friends), and for myself to learn the core of how java servers work. It turned out to be rather successful – as everyone in our community enjoys what Static Craft offers, and, out of how this article was introduced, folks made their own servers just like ours.
We have player testimonials to prove our success:
“Static Craft is a non-judgemental place where you can really be yourself. I’ve made great friends and had a great experience overall! Navigating the server is really easy as well. There are 4 portals to choose a gamemode from, and all you have to do is go through it. I definitely plan on staying on this server, as it’s the best I have ever played on.” – RJstro, 2016
Static Craft still continues today, and will continue for as long as I can keep it up. – DownThePark
